Nozomi Kitagawa, MA, LMHC CCHT, ATR-BC, NLP/Time “Nozomi” means “hope” in Japanese. Nozomi is originally from Japan and has been living in the U.S. for 17 years. She studied Art Therapy at New York University and completed her Master’s degree in 1998. She has worked as a therapist at Manhattan Psychiatric Center (New York), North General Hospital (New York), Goddard Riverside Community Center (New York), Napa State Hospital (California), and Shiprock Adolescent Treatment Center (Navajo Nation/New Mexico), Senior Connections, etc. and gained clinical experiences. She has worked with medicine men on the Navajo Indian Reservation and integrates spiritual perspectives into her practice. Also, Nozomi has been trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)/Time Empowerment™ Techniques Practitioner at American Pacific University. She has also been trained as a Reiki Master.
